English language requirements: The standard English language requirement is IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any one language skill OR equivalent.
Those students who have achieved less than the required minimum may be eligible for pre-sessional English programmes.
The parties agree that applicants fulfilling the criteria set out in this letter may progress onto the specified level of the DMU programmes, leading to awards of DMU bachelor degrees in the corresponding academic areas.
Any offer that is made to students by De Montfort University will contain certain non-academic conditions as well as the above academic conditions, which students will need to fulfil and which are based on current De Montfort University admissions policy and UK Home Office regulations.
