Malaka holds a Bachelor's degree in Science (Hons) from the University of Colombo and a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He is also an associate member of the Charted Institute of Marketing, UK.
His lecturing experience for CIMA counts over three years specializing Management Accounting, which would support the students to understand the concepts in Management Accounting (C01) & Performance Operations (P01) in a simplified manner.
Malaka produced the Sri Lankan joint-prize winner for Performance Operations (P1) for May 2012 exams and obtained impressive pass rates justifying his ability to make students pass CIMA easier.
